Literature Text

Eating through
Ravaging
Reclaiming all you've taken from us
We are a plague, a plaque, a disease
Itching, clawing, gnawing at your seven walls

You've taken so much, used and abused and used again
In the same fashion of kings and tapeworms
Not a threat to you
Not a threat to you
A promise to you
A promise that we will wrap our chains around your legs
Your monolith shall fall
We shall rejoice

We are locusts
We are starving
Feed us, or we shall gorge without permission
As you have for years
As you have since the era of the fathers
Your tears are as sweet as any nectar of the gods
Our tears tasted likewise to your greed

Did they not?
Hunger, angst and general unrest: My inspiration.
